Exploring and seeing what this application has to offer. So far loving the smiley faces, the layout of the toolbar, all seems very easy to use. Am sure this would be a very useful application if you had no access to other word processing/accounting tools and if you wished to easily share with other people. Could also be very useful if you did not wish to save work to disc or cd's and used computers at different locations. It appears to have all the bells and whistles you need in word processing application and accounting software. Toolbars and layout are very similar to microsoft word so if you were familiar with those programme you would have not trouble with this one.
Don't know if its just my computer but this programme does have a tendency to lock up on me.

Co-workers & Library

Downloaded these photos onto the flickr web site and then just played around with them (go to flickr under manukaulearn@yahoo.com - password training to see more pics of mc library), rotated, cropped, fixed red eye, added borders etc. etc - just had fun. Found it a pretty easy site to navigate around and get the hang of. Not a site I would ever be likely to use as I don't take photos for general publication and to broadcast to the world - in a look at me look at me fashion.
I have used snapfish (which is a New Zealand Company) which allows you to do much the same thing but on a personal basis and then upload the photos for them to print off and mail to me.
Which they do very cheaply and efficiently.

Books on my must read list from Librarythings
Just like home
Photo taken at 'Arylies' Whitford on a recent visit. Lapageria which is the native flower of Chile. (much nicer than the sorry looking specimen in my garden). A garden of national signficiant and well worth a visit if you are in the area. The ony New Zealand garden to be featured on Monty Dun's book Around the world in 80 gardens.

Blogging
Just looking at blogs on various pages and thinking how sad it is that so many people find that this is the best way to communicate with each other - isn't it much nicer to talk to people face to face - or is this just me being an old dinosaur !!!!

Librarythings
Just been having a browse around librarythings - seems very American but interesting - noticed a few English classics but nothing about New Zealand or Australian books. Sure I will find few authors that may be worth a dip into - the chances of Manukau Libraries having might be slim though
Planning my next crusing holidays via bloglines - great way to spend my day while at the same time getting paid. Bring it on
